326/365 – Breakfast nook

My morning work area, a place to read the paper, make toast and tea, and generally greet the day, which dawns though the window to the upper left and brings in that soft morning light.

Some speculate that the newspaper is doomed, but Zukowski’s Law is that nothing ever goes away completely.  TV did not replace radio, just changed it.  Same with movies in theaters — cable and DVDs haven’t killed that.  We still have horses, too, although not often on Main Street.

I will always want my morning news in a portable form, although I’m not wedded to newsprint.  A nice light reader with adequate picture capability, maybe even color, could replace all but the Sunday paper with all its circulars.
